The Architecture of Privacy

Pensieve is built on a radical commitment to data sovereignty. By leveraging a cutting-edge WASM (WebAssembly) and PGlite architecture, we bring the full power of a PostgreSQL database directly into your browser's runtime environment.

Your thoughts, systems, and nodes are processed entirely on your local hardware. There is no cloud syncing without your explicit consent, zero network latency, and absolute isolation from external interference. This ensures a living, deeply complex system that remains completely under your control.

Notes on Early Beta

The early Beta of Pensieve is currently live at epensieve.com (Note: SSL is not yet configured on this domain, but will be secured soon).

This initial release operates strictly as a Proof of Concept to validate the Context Management framework. Because of this, the current build relies on a "legacy" cloud-backed storage system. Our engineering team is actively working to sever this cloud dependency and migrate the backend fully to our intended Sintropia architecture—a completely local-first WASM/PGlite paradigm.
